Monticello Lodge No. 532

These images are of the initial pages of one of Monticello Lodge's oldest existing record books - a treasurer's register commencing in 1896. Masonic Historian Alvin O. Benton, in his classic Early Masonry In Monticello and Sullivan County, reports, "The only thing saved from the old lodge records [from the 1909 fire that wiped out Monticello] was the treasurer's book." And here it is.
